Medics — All in one healthcare

In today’s modern, smart and internet ruled world, technology plays a crucial role in everybody’s life and we cannot that deny the fact that healthcare is one of the industries which have seen the much required innovation and development in the recent times. Because Traditional healthcare infrastructures and systems are unable to accommodate everyone’s need.
So, as part of my Design thinking and innovation project, I have decided to work on a project called Medics. Medics is an all in one healthcare application which serves almost all the basic purpose and necessity of healthcare.
Talking about in details the various problems I addressed were:
· Over the internet we can find numerous health applications, but it is really confusing.
· There is a need of an application could provide health information.
· we need an application that provides this information and that too from trusted medical sources.
· An application is required that searches doctor or hospital.
· Choice of booking physical appointment or virtual appointment.
· Finding a right medical insurance and claiming an insurance is a hectic task.
· An application that keeps a record of information entered by clients which is referred to by the doctors during the scheduled appointment n.
Focusing on the above stated problems and needs I decided to work on this project and the solution I tried to create is an all in one healthcare application which serves almost all the basic purpose and necessity of healthcare.
So, let me explain in detail the various tasks medics does for us:
· It solves our issue of finding relevant application.
· The home page of medics will provide us various health details, tips, factors
· Medics (by partnering with some company or redirecting to them) will provide online medicine delivery available.
· We can get health related information on medics based on the symptoms entered by users.
· We can schedule an appointment and we get a choice of booking physical appointment or virtual appointment.
So, the various things I planned to come up with the above proposed solution and the objectives involved were:
· Developing an integrated health application.
· Developing an application that could provide health information from trusted medical sources.
· Developing an application that searches doctors or hospitals.
· Developing a module for e-pharmacy/pathologies.
· Developing a module for insurance agencies.
Now talking about some of the important features of the application:
- It solves our issue of finding relevant application.
- It can search for doctors and hospitals.
- It can search for problems based on symptoms.
- It can provide redirection to e-pharmacy and pathologies.
- User friendly and dynamic interface and design.
- Buttons view instead of creating list so that every feature is easily accessible.

Thus, Medics is an all in one healthcare application which serves almost all the basic purpose and necessity of healthcare. Medics is an integrated health application, which is an innovative idea. This is an innovative step because at present there is no such healthcare application that provide this feature along with other facilities. Designing and successful development of these features is an innovative step in the development of the application. All these above mentioned tasks that this application is capable of performing, and the way they are designed lead us to the conclusion that Medics is an innovative idea and its successful compilation will prove to be a helping step towards smart healthcare.
